Description

Neiman Marcus commissioned this striking malachite-pattern porcelain exclusively from Japanese artisans, featuring the same luxurious look as Christian Dior's coveted "Gaudron Malachite" pattern from the same era. These pieces capture the sophisticated taste that defined luxury department store entertaining in the 1970s.

Masterfully crafted in Japan's renowned porcelain tradition, each piece features swirling patterns in rich emerald greens with lustrous 22-karat gold rim detailing. The sophisticated faux-malachite finish required specialized glazing techniques that Japanese ceramicists perfected for luxury retailers.
